Title: The name "Beau Peep".
Post by: Roger Kettle on January 05, 2009, 10:15:34 PM: Back in 1975, when I was a child, I came up with Beau Peep. To be honest, I never gave the title of the strip much thought. It was about the Foreign Legion...Beau Geste sprang to mind..."Beau Peep" seemed an easy step to make. It was really just a working title that sort of stuck. Thirty odd years on, given the way the strip has developed, what would you call it now? (Suggestions like "crap" will be ignored).
