Title: Another milestone.
Post by: Rob Baker on January 12, 2016, 07:12:05 PM: The first Beau Peep strip was published in the launch issue of the Daily Star in November 1978:

Back in December 1997, Beau and Dennis went AWOL (albeit from a different looking fort ..0):

For the first time in 19 years (and some 6,000 strips later) they were no longer in the Daily Star.

But their adventures returned to the Paper in March 1999 (with the strip serial numbers restarting again from number one):

And today the 5,000th strip was published:

Then I realised I had a life and thought "bollocks"...and promptly logged off !

Have you no pity, Sandy? The stress being caused to Mince by your exclamation mark being a full space away from your final word is almost palpable.

Sorry, that was a typo. It should have read "loaf"...I should have made myself more plain.
