Title: Pancake Tuesday
Post by: Diane CBPFC on February 24, 2020, 07:04:55 PM: I like to do the skinny crepe pancakes dripping with lemon juice a sprinkle of white sugar - but today my Facebook feed is filled with images of "Japanese" pancakes which are very thick (or you could say tall) souffle creations that look amazing.

What to do?

Half-cup of flour.
Half-cup of milk.
One egg.
Beat the bejasus out of the ingredients and slap the resulting batter on a greased pan.

Don't normally like regular pancakes, but you've made them sound so appealing.

That would work, on any day other than Pancake Tuesday.

Seeing it is usually only a once a year thing for me, I stick with tradition and enjoy my lemony pancakes. But there is no saying I won't throw an extra holiday out there just because I feel like it. This past Sunday we had an extra xmas holiday day for instance, because I fancied a turkey dinner and watching the Magnificent Seven which we were unable to watch over the holidays.
