Title: Baking
Post by: Diane CBPFC on December 23, 2020, 10:36:17 PM
I have only baked three things this year for Christmas - shortbread with Christmas sprinkles, mini-ginger people and mice tarts.

I had a go at making panettone for the first time weeks ago as a trial as you can see by the photo I didn't think we could rely on my efforts for a holiday treat so bought a boxed one for Christmas day brunch.

Did you guys make anything special?

I bet they are not vegan.

My sister and niece won't be coming for Christmas this year because of the Covid restrictions. My sister usually makes the pudding and brings it with her so I had to take over the task. The recipe includes suet.
I used a vegetarian version....

Even some of us carnivores have our limits.
