Advertising Slogan
« on: November 28, 2006, 08:48:17 PM »
I have been trying to think of an advertising slogan for the new forum, but it ended up sooo long I think it breaches the description of a slogan.  :-[

Here's what I've come up with anyway...

Where do you post things you?d like to keep,
About ?A man called Horace? and ?Beau Peep??
The forum ? that?s where? and whether old or young,
Visit the site called ?Camel Dung?!
Doubleyew doubleyew doubleyew dot cameldung dot com
Is the address to visit for all time to come!

Beau Peep posts in Just a Fort; Horace, the Saloon Bar;
And Outpourings is where you?ll find all the other posts are?

 :)

Snappy, Tom, snappy!

Thanks, Roger... although I'm sure others can think of shorter and better slogans...

Come and chat to Roger Kettle
Whose teeth are huge and made of metal
And prattles with enamel tongue
To others down at cameldung.

Hmmm . . . nothing really rhymes with camel.

Nomads riding on a camel
Dundee Utd will win Damn all
There's a guy whose name is Campbell
Likes his sweets, especially caramel

No, you're right. Nothing rhymes with camel...

My bath is not tin, but enamel.
It's meant for a man, not a camel.

Cameldung will not smell,
If, on the net, you can spell.

But The Fort and Saloon Bar,
Will let you go ever so far!

Damn! Still no camel rhyming couplets.
