How much effort does it take to write "Mince has won."? I have my acceptance speech ready.

Okay, here are the results.
Mince hasn't won. You've all seen his entries. They were awful.
Tarks had a brilliant entry and I loved it. Trouble is, he went for a Horace gag and the competition clearly states that it has to be Beau Peep related. Tough luck!

A commendable but surreal offering from Egg. "20,000 L'Escargots Under The Sea". What were you on?

Lovely entry from Diane and I was convinced that it would be the winner for a long time. Consider yourself extremely unlucky, Di.

Well, we now know that the winner is Rob Baker. The combination of quality and quantity tipped the scales in your favour. (As did the thought of postage to Canada!)

Rob, drop me an email or a PM with your postal address (Yes, I know, I have it somewhere but you know what my organisational skills are like). I will send off your prize in the next few days.

Thank you all for entering!

Congratulations, Rob. I thought 'Danger Escargot' was sheer genius! So much so, that I entered a Horace title, knowing it was already a lost cause.

A worthy winner! Roll on next year's Mince whinge!
I apologise, in advance.
