Beau Peep Notice Board > Outpourings
It's not unusual.
Roger Kettle:
I've talked before about open-air concerts that take place in Dundee, roughly two or three miles from my house across the river Tay. I've also talked about how sound travels and how I can hear every single note. Can you guess from my heading which ageing Welsh crooner who wonders what's new about a pussycat is performing tonight?
Diane CBPFC:
That's nice to get a free concert (y)
Tarquin Thunderthighs lll:
Did he even need a sound system?
Roger Kettle:
I can't help wondering what it must be like in the front row at these gigs. Given that I can hear every word from over two miles away, I'm assuming it's tad noisy.
Anyway, I can only take my hat off to ol' Tom and his enduring tonsils. My version of "Space Oddity" is a bit croaky these days.
Mince:
You'd be there in the front row if it was old whatsisname ... you know, the one with the flat cap - you've got one just like it ... ooh, name eludes me ... oh yes, Clayderman!
