So sad...

I can't see anything but a white square, but I read on the calendar that the sprouts have to be taken back to Jim because they are no good.
What a bitter disapointment for you Peeps. My favourite part of Chrismas dinner is half a brussel sprout and an equal amount of sweet potato and stovetop brand stuffing all balanced on my fork. I'm sad for you.

My sprouts are fine. I got them from Mr Somerfield. I like sweet potatoes too. I mix 'em with Maris Pipers for a sweeter mash. I like a bit of dried fruit on my fork. Fig on the Tyne, as it were.

I'm having Christmas dinner with the whole of my family (except the one in Toronto :'( ) and they will all be watching in revolted fascination as I pop sprout after sprout into my mouth, unadorned by anything, and not bribed to do so. Lovely!!

I used to hate sprouts as a kid, but now I love them. Don't ask me what changed, I just went over to the brassica side and started enjoying cabbage, cauliflower and sprouts. I don't eat them enough, if the truth be told, as they tend to stay in the freezer in those microwaveable bags, but when I'm eating out, I'll even eat my sons' sprouts.
It helps if they've been prepared by a good cook, but I'll just eat them par boiled if necessary.
Jeez we have scintillating conversations on these boards. I'm going to start a thread headed "How Do You Iron YOUR Pants?"

I don't iron my pants. I don't iron at all. I find that judicious folding does the business.
