I would just like to say that I laugh every day. Not just a little giggle, but a proper belly laugh. It makes me feel good.
Sometimes, I laugh at things that wouldn't even be considered funny or for no reason at all.
What makes you laugh, and when did you last experience your last belly laugh?
Even the way we spell laugh is funny...

I laughed at this joke:
A person goes into a library and says, "Can I have a fish supper, please?"
The librarian says, "You do realise that this is a library, don't you?"
The person says, "Sorry, can I have a fish supper, please?"

Am I bad?
I laughed at this.
Be Neighbourly in the Cold.
The Government has advised people to check on their neighbours during the recent cold weather.
My 76 year old next door neighbour hasn't been round once.

Both very good jokes. They're also interesting talking points when discussing humour in a writing class. Both the above examples are jokes which would work in any language. They don't require any foreknowledge of slang, inside info, etc. Libraries, for instance, are quiet places everywhere.

Libraries, for instance, are quiet places everywhere.
Apart from on "Most Haunted"... the library they visited this week was only quiet to begin with...

I laughed at David Attenborough's (sp) Life of Birds - particularly the albatross with its take offs and landings. So many birds; so many evolutionary quirks to overcome - made me realise everyone has their problems.
