Title: Fugitive Planned Suicide By Bear In Yellowstone.
Post by: Roger Kettle on January 28, 2011, 08:06:09 PM
Every so often, I like to keep you up to date with headlines from the Billings Gazette (Montana). In this story, an escaped prisoner from Arizona headed for Yellowstone Park. His intention was to overdose on heroin and lie there, waiting for bears to eat him. At the last moment, he decided against it and was captured in a sleepy Wyoming town. Now, I know that this guy obviously has some mental problems and I'm not laughing at that but, you've got to admit, this is a great headline. "Suicide By Bear". That's gold, that is.

Had the bears eaten him, would they have been stoned too?

That's barbaric. More likely to have been shot.
