The guys who are working on the Beau Peep computer game heve offered to help get a new book on the go. Andrew has spent hours scanning in a lot of material that hasn't previously appeared in book form and we're hoping to get something out later this year. It will be one of those self-publishing deals which are made available through Amazon. I'll keep you all up to date.

What does "heve" mean?

What does "heve" mean?
It's a cartoonists' term. A secret code that laymen, masons, and underlings aren't privy to.
-
I'm surprised he let it slip. It may cost him his grundle.

I'm surprised he can still find his grundle.

Yippy!
-
Oh, yes - indeed. Yippy! Finally, I can extend my collection, and add to Book 8.

Doesn't he wear it around his waist?
-
Tarquin has a waist?
-
It was on that slatted shelf you sometimes get under coffee-tables, when I called in to Roger's house recently. Normally one would keep it in the loft, but it was nearly Christmas.

What have you got against shelves?

You do know don't you that you can pick up many of the books for around 65 pennies? (abebooks.com).
One of these days, I should scan and make a website for book #2 as I did for book #1 as they are the two that are hard to find.

Try and think. Where were you when you last had them?

No, the easiest way is to keep looking; when you get to the last place, there they'll be!

Please do. I don't have #2 or #3 and this is probably the only way I shall get to read the vintage Roger & Andrew work.
-
...the vintage Roger & Andrew...
How old do you think they are?
-
Over 21?
-
Over 21?
Is that mentally or physically?
-
This is wonderful news. Hooray indeed.
-
I saw the first print of the book last night and things are progressing. There are one or two things to iron out but, hopefully, the completed version should be available within a couple of months. Watch this space.
-
Goodie, goodie!
-
This is very good news indeed. ;D
-
That's brilliant news Roger - I'm can't wait to get a copy. Any chance of a sneak preview of the cover?
-
No---because there isn't one yet!
-
If the book doesn't have a cover, then the first page would then automatically become the cover wouldn't it? It would only ever not have a cover if it also didn't have any inside pages.
-
How profound is that?!
-
How profound is that?!
Extremely. It must be a book with no cover and a total absence of any pages. I could produce one like that.
-
It could be an unbound book of loose
pages morals and questionable integrity.
Hang on, that's definitely a BP book. Hooray!
-
Well, it DID have a cover but a glossy, white cover with only the words "BEAU PEEP" on it---maybe we should go all Beatle-ish and leave it at that.

At least he didn't post a video of him singing that.
-
I've had to cut back on the singing, just when I'm about to start a world tour. (Well, Seoul and Manila.) Yes - having had a "cold" for over 2 months, I've been told it's actually Allergic Rhinitis, which basically means runny, or blocked-up-tubes for ever more... It would be hard for people to enjoy my singing in such circumstances. Mind you, I'll probably still give it a go!
Lucy and I shall be away for 4 weeks, but will of course look in on this forum. Someone else will have to be in charge while I'm away.
-
Allergic Rhinitis? Sounds nasty, Peepsie. Best keep away from zoos, 'Snot funny!
-
Have a great trip, Nige and Lucy, and try to look in when you can. Bon Voyage!
