...of being employed is salary negotiations, I've been "negotiating" a salary increase since November 2014, allegedly to commence on 1st January 2015, I keep moving the opening gambit date backwards in the hopes it will all be done and dusted by 31st December, but it rarely is.   Anyway, having got a tad frustrated once again, I came across this the other day and sent it to "Human Resources", needless to say the silence is deafening...

So, did it work, did you get a raise or did you get a new job as the manager's footstool.

Still on-going I am afraid, it mostly consists of me e-mailing "Well?" and getting nothing in reply, at this point I am edging towards seeing how long it will actually take as an attempt on any world record which may or may not exist, or just sending them a weekly cartoon on the subject.   They have all the numbers, there is nothing material I can add, so the surreal seems almost compulsory.
