We cook from scratch a lot and invariably end up from various sources with vegetable stock that we can freeze. I thought it would be a good idea to have about three or four jars in the freezer and share out each day's stock into the jars, creating layers of different coloured stock in each jar.
I decided to call it "sedimentary stock". ;D
