Title: Campaign to make Roger notable
Post by: Mince on December 07, 2007, 11:58:15 AM
The Beau Peep Wiki Entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beau_Peep) states that the entry is ready to be deleted because of some "notability" nonsense.

The Wikipedia entry also mentions 'Neologisms' - is this something to do with the 'fessing' mentioned on another thread?   ???

You just need to take apart the word: neo (as in neolithic) means caveman; log (as in branch) means club; ism (as in ... er ... prism) means see-through or obvious. So "neologism" means "I know you're going to hit me with that club".

Campaign to make Roger not able to do what exactly? Might it involve knee-capping?

Maybe we should get Peter to re-write the whole thing.
Seriously, does anybody care about this stuff? I looked at this entry some time ago and shrugged. (I am excellent at shrugging. I think I get it from my French grandmother, who also enjoyed a good shrug). It lists a few basic facts in a stilted sort of way which, I suppose, is what it's supposed to do. It certainly doesn't bother me enough to want to change it.

Wiki is garbage.
It's a self-moderated site, employing thousands of idiots whose job is to edit you. They  find a hundred reasons why you shouldn't be featured on Wiki whilst simultaneoulsy offering links to their home pages, whiich feature photos of themselves, grinning like baboons.

Yes, I have had dealings with them.
