When I was sixteen, I saw Marlene Dietrich perform live in the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen.
-
When I was about 4, I walked along Broadstairs sea front dressed as an ice cream. (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/psutherland/briansutherland/Pages/ea_9.htm)

What is it about you cartoonists? Roger wowed an audience in the Kelvin Hall dressed as a wave while an owl and a pussycat strutted their stuff
-
I was a wave AND a tree.

No wonder you get all the birds, Nige.

Was she falling in love again?

Looks like he was fighting them off, even then... (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/psutherland/briansutherland/Pages/ea_10.htm)

Ha ha. My Dad used to make these outfits from scratch. Those helmets and shields were painted papier mach?. I remember we did this fancy dress thing for 3 years. Being twins, we dressed as things we could double-up as. The other time we went as "Bed & Breakfast". I think I was "Bed".
-
It's a scary thought - Peepsie has a twin. :o
-
Nige you were adorable.

You look really happy to be there.

Nige you were adorable.
Thanks, Diane. I love the things birds say to me.

And here he is. (http://spacestories.skymania.com/)
He's 9 hours older than me, by the way. ;D
-
Nine hours! :o Did your mum ever forgive you?
He reminds me of someone...you should grow a beard, Peepsie.

Vulch,
You have to go to Peepsie's twin brother's web page.
Look, is there REALLY a twin brother? Is this whole site set up to play tricks on me? If so, it's taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut, doncha think?
bwible.

Incidentally, we were Hengist and Horsa (as Vikings). It had a relevance as the fancy-dress was at Viking Bay (the main bay of Broadstairs). I think the area (the Isle of Thanet), had some connection with vikings.
Anyway, all this had moved us away from Roger's extremely interesting fact!

He was being ironic, surely.

I forgot what Roger's extremely interesting fact was. :o

Apparently he was in Battle Of The Little Big Horn with Marlene Dietrich. He played Custer's horsa.
