That makes me happy.

For some reason I feel I now have some insight into what it's like to be Roger.

This is the first time I've seen this. Roger must have set it up. It's probably funded his trip to Portugal. I hadn't realised he was into mobile phone push technology.

Rok phone comics have been around for a while. I was commissioned to do some work for their 'Create Comics' library of images over a year ago, though I can't see my work on the site yet. I do recall however, that Beau peep was being offered in phone strip back then, although the site may not have actually been up and running at the time. It's run by good people though, so I'm sure it's all been done through the proper channels...whatever they are.

Rob Baker mentioned this on here some time ago. I have made no money from it. (As yet). The Star asked me to sign some stuff about electronic rights.

I hope Mince hasn't spoilt your holiday by bringing this up now, Roger.  ..0

Portugal. It's the bit on the corner of Spain. I went there once, and enjoyed it (apart from the time-share touts that constantly bothered you). I most enjoyed it when driving inland in a hired mini-moke, getting to villages away from the tourist-trail. Mind you, dining on lobster, al fresco, sipping chilled ros?, overlooking the sea at Albufeira takes some beating.

Fish 'n' chips on Padstow bay. Bliss!

Feasting on a smokie by the quay-side at Arbroath...

Well, actually, fish doesn't as a rule (though a nicely battered haddock is hard to beat, as is a little morsel of smokie), but Arbroath is immense as dreich reminders of a bygone age go.

They hang their washing on the seafront I remember.

Time share touts were the bane of our lives when my wife and I were on honeymoon on Malta. They harrassed everyone on the high street, and almost all of them were British! It got to the stage where we got extremely rude, it was the only way to get rid of them - they saw even qualified rudeness as weakness.
