Lil: I phoned on Friday to book a hospital car for a patient's appointment.
Patient Transport Service:  Yes, it was me you spoke to.  I remember.
Lil: I'm sorry to have to tell you that the lady died yesterday.
PTS: (after a long pause)...do you think I should take her off our whole system?
Lil: (thinks) well not unless you also do a line in funeral cars.
Lil: (out loud)  I think that would be best.  Thank you.
