Title: Let's Beat Up Roger And Make Him Feel Small Thread
Post by: Malc on September 21, 2013, 02:04:28 PM
One would think that a recent Lone Ranger movie with arguably the world's biggest star wearing a stuffed crow on his head, would act as a catalyst for a cartoon strip writer who created a masked cowboy with a trusty Indian companion.
I mean a catalyst to promote the masked man in one of the country's (god help us) popular newspapers and exploit the fact that some idiot decided to put Kemo Sabe onto the big screen.

But no, not Kettle.

Well, that's my opening salvo on this subject, feel free to jump in and give Roger a kicking, and don't spare the shoe leather.

Great idea, Malc....link the strip to the biggest turkey in cinematic history!

You're right, Malc. Nor did he even give Horace a mincing pose for even a few strips when Brokeback Mountain came out. Sometimes life's chances fall to the wrong people...

Roger, that's a lame excuse. If you'd acted fast enough, you could have got the strip attached to the movie WELL before you knew it would drag you both down.

No, wait...
