Title: Where do they come from?

What accents do they have?  What's your take on it? Is Beau a Londoner, Scouse, Manc, Brummy, Scott, Welsh, Irish?  Myself, I always pictured Dennis as a Brummie.

They're all Scottish. Except Escargot - with a name like that, he could only be from Nottinghamshire.

When the doomed animation pilot was filmed, the actor playing Beau was from Derbyshire, if that's any help.

Is that why the animation was never completed? The animator was a doomed pilot? Did he crash his plane? Why were they filming him?

Roger, did you ever get to see any of the initial animation stuff - storyboards etc.?

Sadly, no. I pretty much did the script and we went to a studio in London to record the actors doing it but it all went belly-up after that. A shame.

Actually, somewhere I have a tape of the recording. The actors were the late Colin Tarrant and Graham Turner who did a great job. I must try and find it some day.
