I've just realised that Roger and I have both seen the same film. I guess I could give Roger clues as to which film it is.
Clue 1: It stars one of the stars from Jaws.

Richard Dreyfuss? Close Encounters of the Third Kind?
My wife's cousin, Shelagh McLeod, has just written, produced and directed a film with Dreyfuss. I just thought I'd throw that in.
-
This film has a character who is deaf.
Mind you, I've seen Close Encounters as well, so that makes two.
-
I'm afraid that doesn't help. And how have you "just realised" we've seen the same film?
-
The father of the deaf character is a teacher.
-
And how have you "just realised" we've seen the same film?
They make surveillance cameras really small these days, Roger. Check everywhere!

Ah, okay. Mr. Holland's Opus. I hope you didn't cry like a big baby when you watched it. I certainly didn't.

I thought I'd found and disconnected them all. They started appearing after we did the article about Trump for that American online news site. Of course, it was your brutal caricature that caused the most upset so I started shouting your name and address into the microphones I found!

Not just the once (http://www.cameldung.co.uk/index.php?topic=2890.msg41465#msg41465), anyway. Did you wear the O'Sullivan cap when you watched it?
I saw the film many years ago and forgot the name. I remember enjoying it.

I still have that cap which I bought in the 70's and still look ridiculously cool in it. Mr. Holland's Opus is a terrific film.
