I forgot to post this here yesterday. My paternal grandmother was from Mayo and I only found out when my niece was doing up the family tree.
This is (to me) a very fun game, learning the names of the counties in Ireland - you can see they do other places too.

I just found out how little I know about the geography of Ireland!
-
Me, too. 25% score in 5 minutes 24 seconds. Shameful! If it wasn't for the week I spent in County Wicklow, which included a long drive to Cork, it'd be a lot less than 25%.
Anyways...Happy belated St Patrick's Day to youse all!

I learned that Limerick and Tipperary are counties when I thought they were towns.
Great cartoon :-)

Great cartoon, indeed! When I click on it, it's about six feet tall!

Perhaps he's compensating for something.
I once cycled 500 miles from the Midlands across Wales to Anglesea, across to Ireland by ferry, down Ireland to Cork, then back to Wales at Swansea, and then back home. Anglesea was the first time I saw the Milky Way in all its glory.
Anyway, in Ireland, I was cycling overnight, and there is this spooky town that I cycled through. After another hour of cycling, I ended up cycling through it again. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone, but later discovered I was just in the Bad-at-Map-Reading-and-Pissed-Off Zone.

I had no idea the Milky Way was in Anglesea...or that you could spell Anglesey that way...twice. You live and learn.
Apologies for the high definition image, but it was a big day (after).

I noticed the different angle to Anglesey as well. I didn't like to say anything.

Chiquen!

I'll probably never be going back there anyway.
