Some of you may remember my fascination with the work of Bob Ross---the American TV artist who produced finished landscapes within his nightly 30-minute slot. He's been back on BBC 4 for a while now and getting impressive viewing figures. Apparently, this is because of "Lockdown" and people desperately looking for creative ways to fill in their time. Look, there's no point in denying that his stuff is pretty cheesy but he has an extremely clever technique and a wonderful way of putting his enthusiasm across. I find his programmes, well, soothing. If there's anyone out there who has dabbled in painting, please feel free to share the results on here.

I painted this calf shelter red.
I also spent too much on Bob Ross band-aids "for happy little accidents"

Wonderful work, Diane---the brushstrokes are masterful!

Thanks! It was mostly up and down, but sometimes it was back and forth.

great artwork
someone has missed out on another Bob Ross product - there could be pencil size plastic figures with a sponge top hair for doing sponge painting.

I'd always believed his hair was naturally curly. Apparently, it wasn't and was an image choice!
Great caricature, Tarks!
