Where do you find this stuff, Diane! Did you know, "Tangerines" is what they call Blackpool Football Club. Anyway, I respectfully crossed out the word "drivel" on that other post!  ;)

Tangerines may also be applied to Dundee United. Though having spent most of my life further up the Tay at Perth, I have many other fruity names for them.

Of course... Dundee United... I remember them... (Weren't they called "The Nomads?") There's a sureal thought that's just come into my head. Lots of little clueless comical characters running around the pitch!
