Do any of you more mature posters remember 'Brass' - ITV, 1984?

I've just taken delivery of the DVD of all three series; it's still funny!

Was Timothy West in it? If so, yes and yes it was very funny.

Yes, without Googling, I remember it, it was funny and I particulalry liked the working class revolutionary mother with the cleavage.

Around about the same time I went to see Ben Elton as part of the Red Wedge tour in Bolton. I don't know which was the biggest piss-take of earnest left wing sensibilities, as I was completely distracted by a gorgeous blonde audience member dressed completely in red, including a red beret.
