. . . but I haven't yet decided.
-
My background has changed to Doctor Who.
-
I'm pretty sure I can ban him. Shall we take a vote on it?

Your over-confidence will be your downfall.
-
Actually, this will be fun. Ban me and see how long it lasts. ;D
-
I've just noticed what you're talking about!
I never got the whole Doctor Who thing----even as a kid. I was a Fireball XL5 man.
-
Doctor Who's good... it's the last one tomorrow night. I don't know what that Fireball thing is Roger, sorry!
-
Tom, you're my new best friend.
-
Do you think he's going to regenerate?
-
Yes.
-
Yes.
You don't even know what we're talking about. Go back to your puppets.
-
Well, considering he started to last week, it looks very likely. But, the planets were hidden half a second into the future (which they made a big point of) so, there could be some kind of temporal paradox in the works. Especially with Rose being in a different dimension and all. And, Rose's Mum and Mickey were in the Doctor Who confidential read-through so I think they may make an appearance too!
I could be wrong.
-
There are several unconfirmed theories. Do you want to know what they are?

What about the offside rule?

That'd be the Ood.

Steve Zodiac, Venus, Robbie the Robot...and some kinda monkey thing. I remember it like it was yesterday, Roger. Dr Who was yesterday(ish), and I've forgotten it already.
Might give it a look in if Robert Carlyle gets the gig though.
-
Actually, this will be fun. Ban me and see how long it lasts. ;D
What you going to do? Change your name to Mince Houdini? Smug git - can't be bothered aiding and abetting a smart ar*e. :\
-
Wasn't Robbie the Robot in Lost in Space or something?
-
One theory says the seventh doctor makes an appearance.
Another theory involves the fact that "Mr Copper Foundation" (which Harriet Jones used to make the subwave) is an anagram of "profound importance".
-

That was the other one. This one was actually called Robert - but we were close.

Ah... intriguing...

Ah again! :)

There are other theories involving the doctor's severed hand.

I didn't know he had one. Whose is it?
-
I have a Dalek's severed hand under my sink.

Careful. Roger will have a go at you for not really trying.
-
I didn't know he had one. Whose is it?
His own (assuming you really don't know).

Pfffft! Like I have to try. ..0

No, really - I didn't. I once had fish and chips at the table next to Sylvestor McCoy at Harry Ramsden's in Leith, but he looked like he was using a knife and a fork to me.
-
Pfffft!
Take some antacid.
-
No, really - I didn't.
He had his hand severed while he was still regenerating, and Captain Jack found it.

If you mean what I think you mean, remember that this is a family board.
-
I haven't a clue where your mind is going, but I have NO intention of following it.
EEEEEEW! :-X :-X
-
If Mince diverted the energy he uses finding out about Dr Who into learning about football, he could be one of the lads in no time!
-
Great point, Vulch.
I'm bored with Doctor Who now and his regenerating bits. Anyway, since the current Doctor is Scottish, shouldn't it be Doctor Wha?
-
At least this is the last episode.
At least New Tricks is back for a new series.
-
Okay, I watched it (Dr Who) tonight with the other kids in this house, and I have to say that even though I didn't really have a clue about what was going on, I really rather enjoyed it. It's come a long way since William Hartnell's day.
No sign of Robert Carlyle though.
-
It's about characters now... the sci-fi is just background.
Donna's departure has to be the most unfairest of all time; brilliant writing though.
-
Oh, come on, Tom - it's never been about the science (it's sci-fantasy, not sci-fi), and it's always been about the characters (particularly the Doctor's) and the monsters. There certainly seems to be more characters than ever before (although I'm told this one was a 'special' which brought together loads of past characters), but what with the attempted destruction of the Universe, countered by the actual destruction of the entire Dalek race, I didn't notice a lack of action or special effects.
Donna was surprisingly good though, I agree.

Catherine Tate was stunningly brilliant.
We all think the ring she is wearing is the Master's, and that she might make a return when he does.
Excellently sad ending.
-
Er..."we"?
-
Er . . . *cough* . . . I mean those on the Outpost Gallifrey forum.
-

You mean... you're not the only idiot who watches Dr Who?
-
Okay, thanks for spoiling things, Mince and others. I have to wait about five weeks for the last episode to be shown here, and I've missed three other episodes that aren't going to be shown again for a while. Donna got on my nerves in the first episode I ever saw her in. I think she's improved a little but I can't say I'm sorry to hear she's leaving.
-
Er . . . *cough* . . . I mean those on the Outpost Gallifrey forum.
Don't tell me you're one of those ultra-sad people who are part of a web forum set up just to pay homage to a work of absolute fiction?
Oh...er...hang on............ :-[
-
;D
On Outpost Gallifrey we . . . er . . . they speculate on what happens next. Perhaps we should do that here.
What do you think the Beau Peep Christmas special is going to be about?
-
I think it'll be a crossover with Horace making a special appearance!
-
There are rumours that one of them will die.
Other rumours include Dennis having his bike stolen.

I can just picture it - you're all posting your ideas, hoping against hope that the Dr Who scriptwriters are looking in and will perhaps pinch your synopsis, which of course you'd be happy for them to do, to the point of deluging them with gushing flattery in a pathetic attempt to sway them. Gosh, it does begin to sound like this forum when you put it like that.

Easter bunnies. ..0

Truly sorry about that, Calypso. I just made up the bit about destroying the entire Dalek race, honest - I'm sure they'll be back...er...one of them was wearing Donna's ring...um....who knows?
Perhaps you can get your own back by telling us what happens in the latest Everybody Loves Raymond...or something?

Actually, Roger has already done a Beau Peep strip about bunny rabbits attacking the fort.
-
At Christmas? ..0
-
No, but a Christmas special might be a worthy time for the bunny rabbits to return.

They'll make a change from turkey!

Calypso, it may be a couple of episodes too far in advance for you, but I've just discovered you can watch the final three Dr Who's in this series here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00c7ytx), in full in the web. Unfortunately, I can't find any of the earlier episodes so that you can catch up on the ones you missed, but at least you can partially get up to where the rest of us are...er...those of us who actually watch it, that is.
The order to watch them in is 'Turn Left' (on the link given), followed by The Stolen Earth, then Journey's End.

Thank you, but BBC Player service is unavailable for those who live in America.

:( Curses! I blame the Daleks.

I've just read on the news that 2,500 Dr Who fans are 'irate' because they tried phoning Dr Who's phone number and it wasn't real. What can I say?
It does beg the question: where do they think Dr Who is? Surely, if he's somewhere 'out there' saving worlds, then earth's mobile signals wouldn't reach him anyway. ???
-
Oh, come on, Vult - we're talking about the Doctor here.
-
I wonder how many times Mince phoned?
-
I wonder how many times Mince phoned?
2,500???
-
I wonder how many times Mince phoned?
I would think after all this time that a prudent Doctor Who would have Caller ID on his phone and would have eventually set up Call Block for Mince's phone number.

;D
Or at least a tetchy receptionist to answer the phone and grant him an appointment several light years hence.
