I am, today I put the final touches to illustrations for a kids book, and it's been a long haul.
During the run-in this weekend, and as last illustrations have been approved, I took it upon myself to get blootered down at the club both on Saturday AND Sunday.
I went out to the Redland Bay Hotel and had a few scoops today too, a very pleasant afternoon with friends, marred only by the drivel I had to endure from my two sons and their friend Steve in the car on the way there.
Teenagers are bloody awful to have to put up with. I wish we could hit the pause button on kids around the age of seven, when they are lovely and manageable and then fast forward to when they have families of their own.
I have now had a couple of hours kip and will work until about 2am, my usual routine.
