Communicating with teenagers

I altered this sign from Facebook - let's hope it does the trick - emailed it to my 19 year old.
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

So you're not expecting a phone call anytime soon then?   ;D

If he(?) is 19 now, it hardly seems worth figuring out a way to communicate with teenagers. Make the most of the time he's not calling you by spending the time working out ways to communicate with people in their early 20s.

I have one of those young 20s too – living at home for 4 months for Uni break. We communicate worse than the one off in the world – mostly grunts and the empty fridge informs me what he is up to.
