Or Harvest Festival etc

It is unusual to see a deer with three babies - this was just up the road from us.

Delightful! Happy Thanksgiving to you, Diane, and anyone else to whom it applies.

I miss the annual Harvest Festivals in our village church, now that the kids are too old to take part. You can't get too much of angelic little faces pretending to be your basic cereal crops . Sigh!
I apologise, in advance.

And a happy Thanksgiving from me too, Diane. I'm sure I've asked you this before but what do Canadians have for the special meal? Is it the same as your Southern neighbours---turkey, beer and NFL on television?

Happy Thanksgiving, one and all (well, Diane for sure).

By the way, did I detect a dear with no eye?   ;D

Yes, it is much like the USA holiday but ours is a month earlier. I would rather have it at the same time. For instance with them not having a holiday, they didn't worry about premiering season 5 of The Walking Dead right in the middle of our holiday, plus we haven't even got all our hay in yet.

One of my sons came home for the weekend so instead of watching football, we are going to build a covered shelter for the chickens tomorrow so they can stay outside longer in the winter.

I made a lot of dessert:

That's an impressive breakfast, Dianne. What did the others have?
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I apologise, in advance.
