Have a few mates over, have a few drinks, pick up a deck of cards, shuffle the cards, tell someone to pick a card.
Tell everyone that the card is "the princess". Build a castle of cards, slip the princess in, gather the cards. Place a king face down, surround him with three knights (three more cards down) to guard the princess. Tell everyone that one night a spy (place another card down) sneaks into the castle to kidnap the princess (and here move the princess and spy card off to the side, still with everything face down). The knights chase after him, the spy burns the castle down (so shuffle everything multiple times). Make up more details of the story. Have the princess kidnapped again. Have a knight die. Build more sets only to tear them down. Shuffle the cards. And try to do all this without looking at the cards.
No sleight of hand or trickery is needed, just great storytelling. Keep going, cutting the cards, placing more face down, gathering them up and cutting again, until finally the princess is rescued. Pull the top card off the deck, place it down, and say "My friend, is THAT your card?".
When you are told that it is not, scream "GODF*&$INGDAMMIT! IT NEVER F*%&ING WORKS!" and storm out of the room looking really p*$$ed off.
