The jarring of any joint will not do them much good.
I am not sure about typing may be ok on a soft keyboard.

The computer keyboard take 2oz finger pressure. The old-fashioned typewriter that I learned on was 2lb finger pressure. It's going to take less pressure than kneading dough!
