This was Roger's entry for the first of our 'themed' weeks, which required us to draw captionless cartoons to a given theme, in this case, 'SPRINGTIME'. Lovely gag, but I think penalised by the opinion of the voters that Roger merely crammed a caption into the sign on the stage, and forced the Spring aspect into a gag that didn't actually need it, hence only four points that week. Other than that, it was utterly brilliant, of course.

I apologise, in advance.

Thumbs up for the last three cartoons.  ;D

Thanks for the nudge, Diane. We now come to a bit of a classic, and probably Peepsie's favourite... (warning - contains foul asterisks)...

This one earned Roger a silver medal.
I apologise, in advance.

Of course, the winner that week had to be top quality to beat Roger. This was it... (warning - viewers of a nervous disposition shouldn't eat nuts)...

I apologise, in advance.

You learn something new everyday - I didn't know the Big Bad Wolf's name before viewing this.

Well done on the silver medal Roger. How many people participate in the caption drawing contests, just out of curiosity.

It varies, Diane----anything from 14 or 15 to a couple of dozen.
