I'm way too modest, and it's way too small.

But 33 years - that's remarkable indeed. There can't be too many creators that have spent nearly a third of their life on one project. Congratulations, Roger!        I SAID, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Actually, if you add 33 years of Beau Peep, 22 years of Horace, 10 years of Andy Capp and another, say, 3 years of assorted newspaper strips, the total amount comes to 8 more years than I've been alive. It's a bit like shooting a golf score below your age. The quality has been largely crap, of course, but I wonder if this is a record in the cartoon strip business. 68 years of strips and still counting. Never mind the quality, feel the depth!
