Peep back through time - the 70's and 80's

As Roger says he hates to look back at his early work, I thought just to annoy him I’d put up every Beau Peep published on the 2nd November over the last 35 years (or if it fell on Sunday, the nearest one I likes the best).
Apologies for some of the quality (the reproduction, not the humour) but some of the newsprint is fading, and the way the Daily Star reproduces them is sometimes very slapdash.

Question re 1983: is “her Boston crab” a wrestling hold or a seafood dish?
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

The whole of the week in which this strip appeared was classic. "If I hadn't have sneezed, would you know where I was?"

And the final "Where's Dennis? Was he captured?" is one of the few surreal moments when Beau Peep thinks he's the only non-idiot.
