Our Own Comic Strip
« on: August 27, 2015, 02:14:34 PM »
How about we all come up with our own comic strip? We could take it in turns, probably anonymously if my writing skills are anything to go by.

I cut my own hair.
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

You cut Diane's hair? That's cool.

And where's my original reply to Diane. I replied to her a few days ago and now it's not there. It was my best post ever as well. Oh well, you all missed the genius.

So it's going to be a strip set in a barber's shop. We need a name for the barber.

My suggestion is: Barber Ella

It's always a great comedic device to have a name that is, in itself, an instantly recognisable play on words, utilising a contemporary cultural reference to get that extra laugh. I have to admit, Phil, you have utterly failed to do this. Unless your audience is aged at least 45.

Which covers most, if not all, of this board.

Nice one!
I apologise, in advance.

Isn't he the arch enemy of Ed Nshoulders?
