Newark Festival

It's over a mile away and we can hear the noise here. Tinnitus is too good for them. I'm currently enjoying posts on Facebook about people paying for tickets, queuing for drinks and not enjoying the show.

That's what happened to me last year with outdoor concerts being held across the river from me in Dundee. Apparently, I have the joys of Steps to look forward to in a month's time.

Strange, had a two day historic festival just around the corner from me at Dumbarton Rock last weekend.
Never heard a thing, who knew Romans and Vikings wore slippers and spoke awfully quietly?
Changed days when Sons of the Rock fans make more noise than Hadrian's legions.

Never been to a festival. A few skirmishes however...
