Mince Smells
« on: April 02, 2008, 12:26:59 AM »
I've noticed it many times, and did again today. When you start the gentle frying, it initially gives of an unpleasant aroma. It did help that I fried a little garlic and chillies first before adding the mince however. This was best Scottish beef, so it was quality stuff.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Remember that you have been told more than once before - by Roger himself - to give it a rest.

Yes, but I'm in charge.

Of course, if the general populous would rather we didn't have a "Culinary Corner" feature, I'll happily drop the idea.

You're a wee rascal, Peeps.
Anyway, it's Wednesday, the sun is shining and I'm off for a few hours to play golf. By the way, did anyone fall for the April Fools stuff that was in the papers yesterday? I checked the "Daily Star" and found a story that was well-written and made sense----that must have been it.
