I did have a hand written signed letter from Frankie Howerd in reply to one I wrote to him when I was about 10, but like Tom, I have no idea where it is now.  Could be somewhere in a box here, or could be long gone (without my knowledge) in the rubbish in Scotland.  I thought he was hilarious, and I seem to remember there was something about eating liquorice allsorts.

The only other signatures I have (apart from the Disney ones too, Madjock) are from a charity tennis tournament here in Sydney, so probably only Malc would recognise them.  The two others may know are Tony Roche (60/70's tennis player and was Lleyton Hewitt's coach) and Kieren Perkins (swimmer).  The others are Alicia Molik (tennis player), Anne Fulwood (TV News reader) and Sam Newman (ex AFL player and TV presenter).  I missed out on Jamie Durie, Malc - didn't think it was worth braving all the scratching and eye gouging to get to the front of the crowd.  ;)

Yes, I have the same problem when I'm signing autographs. Women, eh?  ::)

Jamie Durie (as you know) was once a male stripper, but as you may not know, is only four and a half feet tall.

On Backyard Blitz, the gardening makeover programme he does, he only employs small co-presenters, the exception being Scott Camm, who looks like a giant but is in fact only 5' 7".

I could bash him up easy.

The Virginian was a diminutive stripper? I'm crushed!  :o
I apologise, in advance.

I do believe the tiny Australian pocket rocket Jamie was required to dress as a cowboy, for brief periods.

Here he is in period briefs.

No, I didn't know he was somewhat vertically challenged.  He was sitting at a table when I saw him - Imdb lists his height as 5ft 7?" - obviously the ?" is important.

I think you can safely knock an inch and a quarter off that in the interests of the truth. I'd say five six at a stretch. Not that height matters, but it obviously does to wee Jamie.
