You seriously could make a range of Peep-related products for sale in supermarkets, (groceries, etc, not mugs and t-shirts as you presently have) but manufacturers would have to be convinced of the "angle".
The Andy Capp fries made the shelves because Andy's image is a latter day cockney barrow boy.
Cockney being the only regional stereotype the Yanks "get". It matters not that the real Andy is from Hartlepool, in fact many Americans believe he's supposed to be American -his dialect is attributed to a city in state far away from them, where women are referred to as "pet" and friends are nicknamed Chalkie presumably because they play pool.
Seriously, if I was in charge of Beau Peep marketing strategy, I would send Beau Peep t-shirts to the agents of all the hip film stars and to TV presenters in anticipation of Beau Peep Day, a day to celebrate all the people in the world who are conspicuous under-achievers.
It's not such a far-fetched idea. There's already a Talk Like A Pirate day.
