Nothing in Life is Easy

Maybe the problem is that I expected it to be easy and learned too late that is extremely challenging. The difficulty of life combined with the disapointment brought by major experience (love, work, friendship) keeps me up or makes me bury my head under the pillow.

The forum is being hit by numerous new users. I've no idea what is going on. Several unsavoury posts have appeared and been deleted (I assume by Mince). (The deletions I mean). Quite bizarre. I hope it blows over.

Not sure if this thread is genuine or not...

Just checked this guy. There's a porn link in his profile. I'm going to delete him.

I've been deleting the posts, and banning the members, but I'm having trouble deleting the spammers' memberships themselves, Peepsie, so if you could do the honours. I think Mince must be in the gym or something.
I apologise, in advance.

I don't bother banning. I have deleted two members and removed the topics they started.

I don't know how the person above posted because guests do not have permission to post.

Just go to their profile and click Delete this Account. Tarquin, you are full admin so you have all the powers that Peepmaster and I have.

Did that earlier this morning with one, but then got a little confused later and couldn't find the delete option where I was looking (I'm in a little pain today...that's IN a little pain).

The person above joined up this morning - I've been getting several notifications of these new members as they come in today, and acting accordingly as soon as it's obvious they're not kosher.

I apologise, in advance.

The guy who started this thread has a .ru email (which I assume is Russia). His country of origin was down as Philippines, which is doubtful I would have thought.

I think we just snuffed out another one between us. What shall we do with this thread? We could delete it, or leave it here as a testimony to how great we are at dealing with these things, as Peter so astutely points out?
I apologise, in advance.

I think we should leave it up for that precise reason Tarks.

I also feel that Mince should take steps to ensure that these jokers/robots aren't allowed to carry on with such breeches of security.

Get your breeches off, Mince.

He will fight them on the breeches
He wil fight them on the ether
He will fight them in the fields and streets
He will fight them in the hills
He will never surrender.

Go to it MINCE

No, that's a different one.  ..0

Seriously though Mincey, can you do something to stop these weirdos posting?
