Just read this on the BBC website:

"Many lie over books 'to impress'

Could the right reading matter make all the difference?
Nearly half of all men and one-third of women have lied about what they have read to try to impress friends or potential partners, a survey suggests."

I have to admit, I've always kept quiet about my Beau Peep books.

Surely Mince's 'bedroom seduction technique' is the largest bottle of Jack Daniel's he can find! - expecially if he still wears Y-fronts!!

You'd have to be a pretty dumb woman to be taken in by a bottle of booze down the Y-fronts! (I'd heard it was a miniature).

So, at say ?20 per hour, that's about ?2 for that drawing.

I might commission you for some drawings.

It's a great drawing, Tarks. It only shows small on my computer, until I click on it. At first I thought it was something floating, like a magnificent whale, or maybe a basking shark. Then I saw it was Mince. Mind you, a drifting speck of plankton wasn't that far away.

Okay, let's not get carried away here, chaps. It's certainly not a great drawing, Peepsie, just a very quick doodle. Mincey, I don't draw doodles professionally, so if you're after something cheap and quick, you'll have to go to your usual supplier.

Twenty quid an hour? My food-taster charges twice that.
