Party game help.
« on: December 12, 2008, 07:43:37 AM »
I want to play a homemade version of Pictionary at my Sunday party. I have a large whiteboard. Now I am up trying to think of good christmasy things.  At the most, there will be 14 adults at the party and three teens and my nine year old.

I could think for myself  (or I could google but they wanted $6.99 for the right to download the Pictionary playing cards.) so I thought you guys might come up with some good really good ones and then we can all use the game over the holidays.

I will start a list:

Jingle Bells
Snowman
Egg Nog
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

I'd love to help, Diane. But what's 'Pictionary'?

At the risk of coming over all religious fundamentalist;

Star (a bit easy)
Manger

If you really wanted to make the final 'All Play' a toughie, try throwing in frankincense  :)

Fairy,
decorations
mistletoe
Santa,
Christmas pudding
ho ho ho (draw a prostitute with "x3" next to her).
carols
snowballs (if mere circles won't do - draw a snowman with testicles).
three wise men
star in the east
bethlehem
shepherds

Oh, I nearly forgot -
 massacre of the innocents

Vuture - you break into two teams. Each person on the team takes turns drawing a picture on the whiteboard then the others guess what it is. (It is also a real boxed game you can buy.)

Whores and testicles - I should have spent the $6.99

I hate Pictionary. The opposition always get the answer before I've even finished my initial pencil sketch.  >:(
I apologise, in advance.

Reading this thread again I realise that I was an ungrateful git and there were some good suggestions in there too.

Thanks.

Just draw a foy, then some balls afterwards. Sounds pretty straightforward to me. ..0

But a foible is the weaker part of a sword, from the middle of the blade to the prick at the top.

I'll leave that with you.
I apologise, in advance.
