I was looking through my old school books, and the corners of pages where boredom lured me into making a page-flick animation, when I noticed that the ear that I drew for my character has been stolen by Mr Christine and shamelessly used as Beau Peep's ear ever since the strip began. Not only that, but my character was called Peau Beep. I demand decades of royalties.

I think you're telling porkies Mince.  Beau's ears have never been seen in any strip as they're always hidden under his kepi.  A couple of times after he's had run-ins with Mad Pierre though, he appears with his head bandaged up, but even then his ears are covered.
The Peepmaster once told me that Mad Pierre's nose is a dead ringers for yours, so maybe you could sue for that.
