It's a Sad Day
« on: May 16, 2009, 11:24:26 AM »
It's a sad day when someone nicks your avatar.

I'm not going to point any accusatory fingers at anyone just yet, but I shall be away from the computer for a little while today. I'd just like to see it back in place on my return, then nothing more will be said.  :\

I have no idea what you're on about, Peepsie - your avatar is grinning at me just as it always does.
I apologise, in advance.

I've only got a question-mark where my face should be.

Have you eaten all your cookies recently? Or evacuated your cache?

Maybe what you're seeing is in your cache. My face is clearly missing. Birds will be complaining, I just know it.

I can see your gorgeous smiling face just fine, Peepsie.  It's Saturday night here, by the way, and I've been hitting the Lindt Kirsch batons.  It may be affecting my perception.  Also I'm watching Bridget Jones.

All the avatars on this page have now disappeared except Joan's arty-farty one.

What IS going on?

Arty-farty is it, Peepsie?  Obviously the forum people or whoever it is have got taste, cos the only avatar I can't see now is yours.  :P

Have to go now, Colin Firth is whisking eggs.

No, I actually do like your avatar, Joan. It's very Turner-esque.

Something is amiss with the avatorial functioning of this forum. I smell Mince is behind this.

Would Mince make his own avatar vanish though?

I love it when Colin Firth whisks eggs!
