Getting to know you.
« on: April 04, 2007, 03:09:44 PM »
I thought it was about time we had an introduction of sorts and get to know one another better - answer any or all... or make up your own questions if you prefer

What is your real first name?

Where do you live, where were you born?

What do you do to earn a living? Do you like what you do?

What do you do to fulfill the artistic side of yourself?

What do you do to keep fit?

Favorite junk food?

What do you do to make the world better?

What books are currently on your nightstand?

Do you have a spouse, children, dogs, cats etc in your life?

Describe what, to you, would be a perfect weekend?

And now for the serious stuff?

Who is your favourtie Beau Peep character?

Which BP character are you most like?

How many of the 20 Beau Peep books have you read?

Which is your favourite BP book?

Have you met Roger or Andrew in real life?

People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

I don't suppose I can join in with this but I've met Andrew. Are sausages a junk food? I love them but only treat myself if I'm staying at a hotel with a breakfast buffet. Current book is A.B. Guthrie's The Big Sky. That's it. I'm exhausted just looking at everything YOU do.

Roger, as a side question - when you see the thread title "getting to know you" to you also hum "getting to know you" from the musical "The King and I"?

I just want it say that it is funny that Mince's name is Malcolm and I'm assuming that Malc is also Malcolm when my dog's name is Malcolm.

I hope I don't get you all mixed up.

Diane, yours is not the only dog called Malcolm, unusual as it may seem.
A couple of years ago, whilst coaching the U11s, I was constantly distracted by someone calling my name. Others were too. We all looked around to see one of the kids' mothers yanking on a dog's leash and remonstrating with the animal, whose name was obviously Malcolm.
She was very good looking and I got vicarious comfort from the thought that she probably bathed Malcolm and that he was bound to have had his nose in her groin on frequent occasions.

Malc did you also get vicarious distress knowing Malcolm was probably neutered?
