I have decided to stop apologising for my failings. I have never driven a car, don't own a mobile phone, have no idea how to post photos on this site and can't work the DVD system on my T.V. I know nothing about plumbing, electricity, gardening or hanging wallpaper. I couldn't knock up a set of shelves if you offered me a million quid. I lived happily with my kids asking where Mummy kept her tool kit.
The apologising has ended.
I'm Roger. I'm useless. And I'm proud.

Roger, I salute you. You admit your failings; you leave work for the correct person to do - a woman - and you obviously don't get in her way when she's on 'the job'. I do trust, however, that you ply her with cups of tea while she's working, and a large scotch when she's finished!

Thanks, Vulch. Yes, I happily make a cup of tea for my wife when she's doing some oddjobs around the house. Although it's a bugger trying to pass it up to her when she's repairing slates on the roof.
