St. Trinnians - the remake
« on: December 28, 2009, 08:05:31 AM »
I just watched the remake of St. Trinnians - which just goes to show that I will watch any old crap at all that Colin Firth is in.  :-*
People will come from strange lands to hear me speak my words of wisdom. They will ask me the secret of life and I will tell them. Then maybe I'll finish off with a song. The Nomad

Unbelievably bad, wasn't it Diane?  I couldn't bring myself to watch the end, even with the gorgeous Col in it - rather stick Bridget Jones in for a fix.

Note to self: must get hold of Pride and Prejudice.  Haven't seen it yet.

Which one? The one with Colin Firth is really good - I watch it every couple of months or so; the Keira Knightly one, although visually stunning in places, is very wooden.

The Colin Firth one, of course, Vulch.  ;D  Never seen it.  Have seen bits of the Keirra Knightly one.

Keira Knightly played Mr Darcy? I can see where that might not work.
I apologise, in advance.

She does it very well. Especially when she throws herself into the lake with a transparent shirt almost on!   :P

Ah - Pinky & Perky takes me back to my childhood.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟
