Yes, will you sharpen my pencil?
No. Look after your own equipment.
Yeah. Does my bum look big in this tutu?
What do YOU think?  I'm not falling for that one.

I apologise, in advance.

There's no impartial ref.
It is difficult to think of a fact about oneself that is:
 a.  Not already known.
 b.  Suitable for this game.
 c.  Able to be manipulated to make the opponent guess wrong.

I might state that I have 4 Beau Peep mugs, which on scanning the site could be thought to be true.  It would be wrong though, as one was damaged and is now a pen holder, and another was bought for my little girl (the brown belt kick boxer).

It's hard to think of a subject.  perhaps if Peeps (whose quite bright idea this was - especially seeing the number of posts here) might like to decide subjects which can be provable.

I have no idea what the hell is going on in this thread.

That is all I have to say on the matter.

To peeps, you might want to clarify the rules, set a subject, act as our ref. and get this thing started  FRONTO !!!

Okay.

First we must establish who the members of each team are.

Secondly, we must pair up the team members.

Someone neutral can volunteer to receive the PM'd truths/fibs from each team member (and the corresponding answers), before they are put to each opponent in turn.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Can I be the 'neutral volunteer'? I'm too old to prance around in a tutu. I'm honest and clean living and brush my teeth every morning and night...   ;D

If Vulture has volunteered to be the impartial ref, then we must have Feather on our side as previously agreed.  That way there should be 8 on each side.

the Ref should then decide a subject to which we must provide a question and the correct answer (e.g. what was your first pet's name, Do you have any siblings, etc).  Once the list of names on each team is agreed, they could be sorted alphabetically and then paired off against each other.

I believe the aim of the exercise is twofold:  1 - to find out more trivia about each other, and 2 - to see how many lying g**s there are on this forum.

No! The subject merely states a "fact" about themselves, which the opponent deems true or false.

e.g. "When I was 10  I accidentally flushed a pet newt down the lavatory". - True or false.

No subject setting, and why would there be?!
