The McGoogle non-electric guitar
« on: June 18, 2011, 11:47:57 AM »
For years now I've been toying with the concept of putting stuff on You Tube, my own songs or a cover version or two I'm happy with. I eventually decided to upload this as a test, it was done in one take, because my son Aidan was dying to get out and see his buddy and thought the idea of videoing his dad playing the guitar was a bit lame. He actually videoed with my mobile phone in one hand and his skateboard under his arm, so if I had stuffed up it would have been hard luck, he wasn't going to hang around.
I eventually found out how to upload stuff. Here it is.

Very impressive fingerwork, Malky. Enjoyed that - shame it wasn't in 5.1 surround sound. Very expressive dancing moustache you have there, and eyebrows that could teach Roger Moore a trick or two. My only reservation is that the specs hanging from the jumper neck isn't quite rock and roll... although you may yet make it so!
I apologise, in advance.

You should see me live. I go like the clappers. My moustache can hardly keep up.

Yes, the facial tics were a bit off-putting when I saw them, I was told about them when I was last in a band and that was in the days before mobile phones or even decent video cameras. I now know what people were on about.

I listened to both songs - I found them very similar.

But like Tarqs says, excellent fingerwork! Hope you are a You Tube sensation.
