My family the Bluenoses
« on: February 05, 2012, 01:20:35 PM »
I've always been a Celtic supporter, with Man U as my English team as long as I can remember (which means from about 10 years old). Rod Stewart's lyric from "You're In My Heart" only confirms my allegiances.
It stopped being fun supporting Celtic quite a while back, so I adopted Killie as my poor orphaned nephew team.

Imagine my horror to find on Facebook that my family are Bluenoses almost to a man. And a woman - my mother is posting pro-Rangers messages. It's sacrilege, but then again, not. Rangers aren't the bastion of Orange bigotry they once were (yes I know it's still chockers with anti-Papists), but no matter what the rest of my family say, I still support the Bhoys.

And Kilmarnock.

For today - Go the Tangerines!!!!

Malc, as I type, United are two goals up and I've come on here to ease the stress!

It is "Super Bowl Sunday" over here - people get together for parties invovling a lot of processed meats and watch the show together. THe show is about two American style football teams playing a game and is famous for the TV commercials.

Not us. Hubby is working and I woke up thinking of a plan to keep my dogs toothbrushes separated (germs) and yet still easy to identify, access and drain.

Diane, I think you've come up with the perfect excuse to avoid an engagement...
