Damn. Really? "What all do you need?" It never crossed my mind that this was a Scottish expression.
Let's say a guy walks into a fishing shop and says to the assistant that he's going fishing at the weekend and needs a few things.
"What all do you need?" replies the assistant.
No?

Ha ha. I did Google it, and drew a blank. I suspected it might have been an expression local to Dundee.

Maybe you can do one where the shop assistant asks, "is that you?" That used to intrigue me when I first moved here. :-)

I've just mentioned this to my dear wife---who's a Londoner, as you know, Peeps...and she's perfectly happy with it. Although she did hazard a guess that it might be an American expression!

There's a difference between "what" and "what all", with the second meaning "tell me everything". Try googling: "what all do": you will see enough examples of the usage.
